Land Review & Assessment

Members of the Kansas One Shot Turkey Hunt, Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, along with landowners, took an assessment of land in Butler and Greenwood Counties to determine what was needed to build up the habitat for the wild turkey and other wildlife.

This program will provide information to the landowner on what they can do to make their property viable for wildlife, including the wild turkey.  The Kansas One Shot Turkey Hunt will work closely with the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks and the landowners to make it happen.
